can be heard across the hall along with a girl's startled scream, coming from one of the classrooms usually used to teach potions. After just a second, said blonde girl comes out the classroom coughing because of the smoke.]

I'M SORRY! Oh Rao I'm so sorry-

[More coughing]

Is anyone there? I promise this will not harm you- I'm so sorry! I never know how much Aconite is too much, it won't happen again I promise...

[OOC: SO Kara blew up a potion while practicing... something. Feel free to bump into her or scold her for waking you up.]

[OH SHIT that was a big boom, and Tim runs right toward it because oh man what if someone was hurt D: Of course he's only thirteen, so he can't really do much if someone WAS hurt, but it really isn't in him to flee the scene. So when he spots Kara, he darts over, waving some smoke away and coughing a little.]

Are you okay? What happened?

[Still coughing, but she seems unharmed]

Yes! Yes I am- everything is okay, it was just a loud explosion. It didn't hurt you, did it?

No, no I was way down the hall - that's a lot of smoke, are you sure - was anyone else in there? [He's taking a few steps toward the door, pulling his shirt up over his nose and mouth to breathe, like he's getting ready to go check.]

[She reaches to place a hand on his shoulder]

No wait- I was alone in there! Let the smoke clear out. Don't go in there!

[He stops, looks up at her, and waves some more smoke away as it wafts out.]

You're sure? [Because that looks awful and he doesn't want to leave anyone in there but he does sound kind of relieved.]

[ Steph just happened to be walking through the halls, and she'll admit it was as much curiosity as concern that had her poking her head around the corner. ]

The road to hell is paved with Aconite and having to buy a new cauldron.

[A sound that's a sigh turned cough.] I'm fine, I just failed at an experiment. Big thing.

You exploded a flower. [ She starts slow clapping. ]

Hey, don't laugh! Everybody makes mistakes. And Aconite is really powerful! [A pout.

And then she shakes her head.] No, I was alone and I'm fine. I guess I should be grateful.

And you may have terrified some mice, but other than that. How bad is the mess? You need help cleaning up?

[Dick had jumped about a foot in the air when he'd heard the explosion and immediately headed down to investigate what was going on, coughing a little and squinting through the smoke to see who it was.]

Hey, don't worry about it, we've all blown at least one thing up here. Are you okay?

[She's still coughing and trying to pull the smoke away with her hands helplessly]

Yes, I guess this was my initiation to that club. I am, or will be as soon as I get rid of all this smoke.

[Dick casts about for a minute before heading over to force open one of the windows in the hallway, trying to wave the smoke out of the building.]

I'm almost surprised the fire alarm didn't go off. What were you trying to make?

[She makes a face] You're going to laugh, but- I was just trying to make some kind of watered sleeping potion.

I thought a painkiller potion could be useful.

[Dick doesn't laugh, but he does grin a little.]

Yeah, that would do it. You're sure you're okay?

[Almost immediately there's a scaly head poking in through one of the windows. He snuffles slightly as he inhales smoke.]

Are you quite all right? No glass wounds or burns? You still have your hair, that looks to be a good sign...

[Worried dragon is worried.]

[Kara can't help the little gasp when she notices the head, but wills herself to calm down, a hand on her chest.]

Uh- no, I'm fine! It exploded everywhere but it somehow didn't got me- and I'm good at healing potions anyway, if I was hurt I could heal myself...

[nolongerhollow]

[The dragon blinks, still looking a bit dubious and worried.] All right, then, no harm done. Let's just get this mess cleaned up and keep on, then, right?]

[He blurs darkly and flows into the room, remanifesting as the Transfiguration Professor. Pulling out his wand, he peers around.] Yes, this room just needs a good Mary Poppinsing.

[She appreciates the human form. Animals don't really get along well with Veelas, so Dragons put her kind of in edge.]

I- I will handle that, I promise. I'm so sorry I caused such a mess...

Oh, no no, don't worry about it. This is nothing to what happened last time I had a sneezing fit.

...kidding. Now. Bit of practical magic...please observe.

[He moves his wand in a broom-sweeping motion and mumbles a few words of Magical Latin. The mess on the floor starts to disappear.]

[Professor Chromie apparates in like an omniscient Nightcrawler and throws her wand towards the smoke. A glass bubble appears around the cauldron and she starts fanning the remaining smoke away from Kara with a manilla folder.]

[Kara nods; Still coughing and with watery eyes, she's grateful as the smoke is fanned away.]

Yes, I'm sorry- it's just a big mess, nothing serious. I will clean it!

Are you sure? If you find burns or unusual side-effects later don't hesitate to see the infirmary...
